Minister Mase or Murder Mase?

I don't understand! When Mase left the rap game he was a the top. We were told by Mase that God called him to ministry. He went on a worldwide tour talking about how God had changed his life. How he no longer wanted to be part of the world that include sex, drugs, and violence. He was accepted by Christians throughout the world. He spoke to many youth groups. Then he became a Pastor of S.A.N.E. Church International. In 2004 he said God wanted he to come back to the rap game but deliver songs that kids, mothers, fathers, and grandparents can listen to. These songs didn't have ANY bad language or reference to illegal or immoral activities. I applauded his efforts because heaven knows the kids need it.Now in 2006 Mase has signed a record deal with 50 Cent. The rapper that makes a living out of glorifying violence. He brags about being shot 9 times. He brags about sleeping with all the black stars (treating them like hos). And his new video game teaches kids how to load and shot a gun.For the life of me I can't understand the connection between Mase and 50. Not only has Mase signed with G-Unit records but he also changed his name back to "Murder Mase" and using the type of lyrics he used during the pre-Bad Boy (P. Diddy) days. A few of his church members stated that God wants Mase to use these type of lyrics and have this lifestyle to impact the lives of people in rap game. PLEASE!!!!! Mase is CONFUSED. He's dealing with "spirtual warfare" right now. In case you don't know, spiritual warfare is when your mind/spirit is fighting for CONTROL (good vs evil, God's voice vs. Satan voice). The sad part about this whole thing is, the church members (S.A.N.E Church International) are suffering during this time. Let's pray that God's will is revealed in this matter. Also, continue to pray for the brotha (while you are moving your head to his songs - LOL). See link on the right for Vibe magazine's article on Mase (Murder).

Confused is the a great word. I'm not here to question whether God told him to do it or not, BUT when it contradicts God's word, it's hard to believe him.
